Benjamin Moore · Trim, doors and cabinets
Advance
Cabinet and trim enamel that levels out like oil and cleans up with water.
What it’s for
Advance is a waterborne alkyd: it flows out like an oil enamel, so brush marks relax into a smooth, furniture-like finish, but it cleans up with water and stays whiter over time than traditional oil.
It cures slowly. Cabinet doors can go back on in five to seven days, and the finish keeps hardening for up to a month — so it doesn’t stick to itself when doors close.
