Fresco Urbain
LRV 9
Dunn‑Edwards color · mixed in Benjamin Moore
Benjamin Moore already has the formula for Wild Buffalo, so we mix the exact color at our North Scottsdale counter, in the line the surface needs. Same color, better paint. If you’d rather choose one of Benjamin Moore’s own colors, the five closest are below. Wild Buffalo is currently approved in 1 Arizona HOA scheme we track.
About this color
Sheen: Matte or eggshell on interior walls; flat on exterior stucco. Soft gloss or semi-gloss on doors, shutters and trim.
DEBN21 Wild Buffalo is a very-dark, muted brown (LRV ≈ 9). Very dark colors are the Arizona desert-architecture trim and accent default: desert-aesthetic HOAs typically want trim and fascia set darker than the body, and white trim is uncommon here. They suit front doors, shutters and iron gates. At LRV 9 it sits inside all three municipal overlay caps: Scottsdale ESL (35), Paradise Valley Hillside (38) and Scottsdale Foothills (40). As a full body on a west wall they run hot, so talk to us about the elevation first; for trim and accents we use Aura Exterior or Regal Select soft gloss.
Which Benjamin Moore line?
On a stucco body we use flat, because sheen on a sunlit wall reads as glare. Element Guard is the one for a summer repaint: it forms a sound film in the heat and is rain-ready in about an hour. The rest of the year, Regal Select Exterior is our standard repaint. Bring the Benjamin Moore code from any of the five swatches above and we’ll mix that exact color at the counter.
