Meoded · Lime Wash primer
Lime Wash Base Coat
A water-based acrylic primer made for Meoded Lime Wash. Two coats on drywall and painted walls give the wash the right surface to soak into, inside or out.
What it's for
Lime wash bonds by soaking in, and drywall or painted walls don't take it the way brick and stucco do. Base Coat is made to absorb Meoded Lime Wash so it develops its mottled finish instead of sitting on the surface.
New drywall gets a drywall primer (PVA) first; glossy or oil-based paint gets sanded and a water-based primer. Then two coats of Base Coat.
