Meoded · Color wash glaze
Velature Glaze
A clear, flat acrylic glaze you tint and thin with a lot of water, then sponge over Meoded plaster to add color and an aged, many-toned look without any shine. Inside or out.
What it's for
Velature soaks into the plaster instead of sitting on it, so it adds color without luster. Tinted, then thinned with eight to ten parts water, it goes on with a sponge from the bottom of the wall up.
Start light. Plaster absorbs it quickly, and the first thin coats also seal the surface so later, darker coats can be worked for a deeper, older look. Darker is always possible; lighter is not.
