PlasterGuard
A water-based sealer that waterproofs Concretta in showers and on backsplashes, and toughens plaster in high-traffic spots.
What it's for
PlasterGuard soaks into the plaster and cross-links as it dries. On shower walls it is the waterproofing: three coats at least, four for best results. On floors and countertops it is the first coat, under two coats of PlasterSeal Plus.
The first coat is thinned 20% with water so it penetrates; the rest go on full strength with a foam roller, one to two hours apart.
