Vega Plaster
A heavy lime-and-cement plaster for natural stone and precast looks, from smooth and modern to deeply pitted. Inside or outside.
What it's for
Vega is built thick, with a large grain, so it can be left pitted like weathered stone, troweled smooth like precast concrete, or worked into flutes and texture.
It is a tintable powder, mixed with water on site. Like Concretta, every batch has to be mixed the same way or the color shifts. It is breathable, bonds well and is rated for interior and exterior walls.

How it goes on
Meoded's steps, shortened. The full instructions come with the product.
- 1Prime. New drywall gets a drywall primer (PVA) and glossy paint gets sanded and a multi-purpose primer; then one coat of Meoded Quartz Primer, three to five hours to dry. A sound, flat painted wall needs only the Quartz Primer.
- 2Mix 10 lb of powder with about 30–36 oz of clean water, the same way every batch.
- 3First coat: even over the whole wall. A damp sponge or plastic trowel in circles before it dries exposes the grain. At least 12 hours to dry.
- 4Second coat: a little thicker, to bed the large grain. Trowel smooth, or leave it pitted.
- 5After at least 48 hours, seal with Stain Shield.
