Pearlas Velvet
A water-based metallic paint troweled on in two thin coats for a soft suede finish that shows two or more tones as the light moves. For interior walls.
What it's for
Velvet sits between paint and plaster. It is a paint, but it goes on with a trowel or spatula in varied strokes, and the finished wall looks like a soft metallic Venetian plaster with the feel of silk.
It is washable and easy to touch up, with low VOC. Walls need to be smooth (Level 5) and primed: a drywall primer on new drywall, a multi-purpose primer on painted walls.

How it goes on
Meoded's steps, shortened. The full instructions come with the product.
- 1Smooth the wall to Level 5 and prime it.
- 2First coat: thin, with a trowel or spatula, varying the strokes. At least an hour to dry.
- 3Second coat the same way, then work it with a clean trowel until the movement is right.
